Background
In Reiki, the Cho Ku Rei—often called the Power Symbol—acts like a switch, directing and magnifying energy flow. Lapis Lazuli, long prized for its celestial blue, carries the vibration of wisdom, honesty, and expression. Together, symbol and stone form a pendulum that not only guides yes/no divination, but also channels Reiki energy into areas where truth, clarity, and communication are needed most.

How to Use

• Cleanse your pendulum and the space before beginning (smoke, sound, or consecration spray).

• Hold the chain lightly, letting the pendulum hang still.

• Invoke the Cho Ku Rei symbol—visualize its spiral “switching on” the flow of Reiki energy.

• For self-work: hover the pendulum above your left palm (the receiving hand) to channel Reiki into yourself. As you do, visualize moving through each chakra point in your mind, one at a time.

• For supporting healing others: hover the pendulum over the client’s chakra points, or over a proxy such as a body grid or chakra diagram, to direct and balance energy.

• Close by thanking the tool, then cleanse before storing.

Pendulum Movement Meanings

• Clockwise: energy is balanced and moving freely.

• Counter-clockwise: energy is imbalanced and needs rebalancing.

• Side-to-side or up-and-down: blockage or stagnant energy is present and needs to be cleared.
